CONS
Dull interior, no diesel option, cramped rear seats
Honda HR-V (99-05) rivals
Overview
An uncompromising cross-over vehicle, the HR-V is aimed at young buyers who want something a bit different. Feeling fun and funky, the HR-V has refined road manners and the usual rev-happy engines. Not a great performer off-road, but this is not what the ‘Joy Machine’ is about.
