In their own words

I wasn't sure at first about buying a Range Rover as you hear so many horror stories, however I ignored this, and went out and purchased one. Now I can say I'm very happy to have bought 3.6 TD (I test drove a 3L, but a little sluggish for my liking) Second hand values are relatively low, so you can get a supreme luxury car, for a reasonable price (cheaper than my mini to buy) The comfort, driving position, power of the engine and overall presence are simply second to none! MPG is actually better than expected, never drops below 26/27 mpg and can get 32+ with fast roads/motorway driving! Negatives? Well mine so far has not turned out to be the money pit many people claim (at least not for 6 years and counting) So only real negatives so far, are for one my model is in quite a high road tax bracket. Secondly official dealership servicing can be a little expensive (but top notch non the less) However their are plenty of Land Rover/Range rover specialist garages scattered around if main dealers are to much! That's it, cannot think of any other bad points. The important question, would I buy another? Absolutely, I cannot begin to imagine not owning a Range Rover moving forward. I would of course love to own a brand new one, but sadly that's not going to happen, so I shall continue to be happy buying second hand models!
