Ford E-Transit electric van dimensions, payload and specs
Here are the Ford E-Transit electric van dimensions including the loadspace size and the payload ratings. Based on the diesel Transit large van, this offers similar load space to the rear-wheel drive versions of that, though you should expect some adjustments to the equivalent payload ratings due to the weight of the electric drive batteries (more info on this below).
There are several different gross vehicle weight versions, which impacts the payload accordingly.

The E-Transit electric van is available in 25 versions, offering buyers a choice of three lengths, two heights, three different weights, a chassis cab and a double-cab-in-van. Within this, there are five different sizes of panel van - an L2 length in H2 and H3 heights, an L3 in either H2 or H3 and an L4 in just the H3 height.
It’s a proper Ford product, rather than a third-party conversion, and is therefore well able to cope with demands of heavy professional users.

Further info about the Ford E-Transit load area
All models come with a metal bulkhead as standard, though a composite alternative is available as a means of increasing payload. A choice of floor covering and lining is also offered, alongside a variety of load restraining kit from lashing points to aircraft-style rails.
More interesting still is the Pro Power Onboard option, which allows you to use the main drive battery to power tools and other electronic equipment – turning the van into a giant, silent generator.
There are three different gross vehicle weight versions of the Ford E-Transit, which all come with different payloads. Drivers with a standard Category B licence will only be able to get straight in and drive the 350 model. You can drive the 390 and 425 versions without upgrading your licence, but you will have to go through some extra training to do so.
The top-level payloads are not quite as high as the maximum on the Fiat E-Ducato but they are close enough to be competitive and up with the best. The lowest level payloads are better than the minimum that are available on the Fiat, though.
As is the case with pretty much every van, the larger you go the lower the payload, so the models with the biggest loading area are able to take the lightest loads.
