Maxus eDeliver 7 (2024) van dimensions
The Maxus eDeliver 5 sits in a slightly odd space in between the conventional small and medium van categories.
There aren’t loads of different shapes to choose from – probably because any longer versions would start encroaching on the eDeliver 7’s territory.
It’s worth bearing in mind that you can only get the eDeliver 5 in a panel van so this is not a van that can be converted. If you want to do that then you need to look elsewhere, such as at the smaller eDeliver 3.
The exterior dimensions of the eDeliver 5 are neither small nor medium, with it slotting neatly in between the two classes. It is, in this sense, close to the VW ID.Buzz Cargo.
It’s good news that the lower of the two sits under 2m in height, as this should allow it to get under most urban height restrictions.

Maxus eDeliver 5 load area dimensions and capacity
The inside space of the eDeliver 5 is a decent shape, but there isn’t much in the way of clever features on offer as standard or on the options list.
The doors also feel relatively lightweight, and don’t provide a reassuring slam when shut.
H1 | H2 | |
Maximum load length | 2,653mm | 2,653mm |
Maximum load height | 1,455mm | 1,675mm |
Maximum load width | 1,704mm | 1,704mm |
Load volume | 6.6m3 | 7.6m3 |
With only two heights on offer there is no high payload version to go for, or low-end variant to avoid. In what will be a shock to no-one, it is the smaller, lower model that has the higher payload of the two, but there is barely anything in it.
The lower H1 model has a maximum payload of 1,200kg while the H2 musters 1,180kg.
Maxus eDeliver 5 towing capacity
The Maxus eDeliver 5’s towing capacity is the same for both heights – it’s rated at 1,500kg.
