Maxus T90 EV dimensions (2023-on)
The Maxus T90 EV is only offered in one version, with one battery and motor combo. All vehicles, therefore, will have the same payload and dimensions.
The initial version shown at the CV Show in 2022 didn’t have the crucial 1,000kg payload that pickups need in the UK, but thankfully this has been rectified for the production model that will be going on sale over here. This means it qualifies for the crucial tax-based benefits, but also offers a hefty load more practicality.
The rear loading bay isn’t the largest, though. Read on for our full assessment of the T90EV’s practicality.
The Maxus T90 only comes in one shape and size – you can only have a double cab with no option to have a bigger loading bay at the expense of interior space.
It measures up fractionally longer than the likes of the Toyota Hilux, but only by a few cm – not enough to be any larger or smaller than the class average.

- Length: 5,365mm
- Width including door mirrors: 1,900mm
- Height: 1,809mm
- Wheelbase: 3,155mm
Maxus T90 EV load area dimensions and capacity
- Maximum load length: 1,485mm
- Maximum load height: 530mm
- Maximum load width: 1,510mm
There is no need for any concerns when it comes to payload – the Maxus T90 EV can take the all-important 1,000kg that is needed to qualify for UK tax breaks, and to match up to pickup rivals.
Maxus T90 EV payload
The T90 EV offers a full 1,000kg payload. This has been done without any mechanical tweaks, says Maxus, with no upgrades to the suspension needed.
Maxus T90 EV towing capacity
The good news is that the T90 EV can tow, but it doesn’t have the biggest capacities. It will take a 750kg unbraked trailer and a 1,500kg braked setup. This is some way short of the 3,500kg maximum that many diesel pickups will offer
