You believe style and aesthetics has meaning.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Everyone is very complimentary, and the assumption is that it cost a huge amount. Only my petrol-headed friends know what it is. Very few actually link Alfa with poor reliability or quality.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Most likely not, but only because there are there are other cars I wish to own. Definitely would own an Alfa again. I like the new-ish spider with the 6 headlights.

What are you likely to buy next?

Honda S2000.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Not totally sure - I am very happy with the car overall, but the dealer tried to cover up a lot of faults. Given the dealer had serviced the car for the last few year, certain truths were ommitted such as a gearbox oil leak and completely shot discs.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

My golf was on its last legs.

What was the dealer like?

It was the cheapest car on the forecourt and the sale of the car was treated as such. No real interest or knowledge about the vehicle.

What's it like to drive?

Tremendous. Steering is ultra precise, and requires very little physical action to make the car go where you want. Engine is smooth and quiet around town, and makes the right sounds when it matters. Not hugely fast but enough to keep up with the mass of 2l turbo diesel audi's out there.

What's it like to park?

Haha. Well.... Turning circle is like an oil tanker, but it is possible to park. 3 point turns can become 7.

Have you had any problems with the car?

All manner of things, but the car is aestheticallly spotless and drives wonderfully. At 67k it needs gearbox work, suspension has been replaced, and burns oil like there is no tomorrow.

What's most practical about your car?

Perfect cornering ability.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The steering wheel.
