Summary
What does this car say about you?
I think that its a different choice of car. Every other car on the road is german or japanese. This is different and has a bit of a personality.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
All seem to like it
Would you buy this car again and why?
Wouldn't buy the same car again - not because of any problems just would like a change when the time comes - hope to stick to alfa though
What are you likely to buy next?
159 or brera - depending on how much they depreciate!
-
Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£5,500
When did you buy the car?
August 2004
Did you get a good deal and why?
Shopped around, bought private in the end
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Looks, performance - a lot of car for the money. Let the first owner take the depreciation and then pick up a bargain!
What was the dealer like?
Never used one - there are some very good independents around - cheaper too

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very good - performs very well above 3,000 rpm. Handles well, no roll. Can be rough on poor surfaces but this is the pay off for the firm suspension.
What's it like to park?
The turning circle is akin to a bus!
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Lower wishbone cost £100, rev counter cost £50 (from a breaker). Other than that just servicing and wear and tear - tyres, brakes etc
What's most practical about your car?
Not especially practical although we manage (2 adults and a baby) without any difficulty
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The leather is gorgeous, and i just like the general look of the car - i dont think that the design ages at all
