    Value

    5 out of 5 5.0

Imported for less than £12k with metallic paint, alloys and alarm.

    Costs

    3 out of 5 3.0

First service in Fiat dealership was very good and cheap - second service; reception moved to Alfa dealer though servicing carried out at the same Fiat dealer next door was much more expensive.

  • On the road

    Driving

    4 out of 5 4.0

Great fun. Car has soft springs, but firm dampers - ride height gets very low and can bottom with 5 in the car.

    Performance

    5 out of 5 5.0

Great for a 2.0 engine. Sounds fantastic and is incredibly smooth right up to red line. Had a 1.8 courtesy car once which wasn't much slower, but much less smooth and sophisticated.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    4 out of 5 4.0

100% reliable (now has 25k miles on clock). Headlining rattles a bit and two of the brakes make an annoying squeal on the move, but not under braking.

Best looking 4 door saloon you can buy.

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Seats and driving position fine. Ride can be harsh at low speeds, particularly with 5 in the car.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    5 out of 5 5.0

    Has deadlocks, alarm and immobiliser.

    Service

    5 out of 5 5.0

Even though it is an import, the dealer has been great. Although I have had no warranty claims, they fixed a rear number plate light which I damaged for free without me even asking them to do it.
