Economy
Value
Bought second hand from main dealer at 1 yr old with only 11k on clock for just £12K. I believe an absolute steal at the time, after extensive shopping around. However, better deals can be had now.
Costs
None, except petrol! Service cost was very reasonable, cheaper than my current Megans diesel, about £120 for 24K service. Also averaged about 460miles on a full tank, which is about 35mpg.

On the road
Driving
Absolute driving pleasure. Always eager to get behind the wheel. Ride was keen, a bit bumpy over poor roads, but an excellant cruiser.
Performance
Car ambled effortlessly around town even in high gears. Cruised brilliantly on motorways and went like a rocket when pushed! Exhaust note when revved hard is exquisite! The car wants to be driven hard, as all alfas should be!

Living with it
Reliability
No issues except for a minor rattle from under dash, same sorted by dealer.
Image
Visually an Alfa is infinitely more stylish than any other car. Everyone looks and stares, because an Alfa evokes pleasureable emotions. Never experienced this with my other cars. My daughter loved it, the school run was "cool"
Comfort
Refinements and cockpit/ dash design is a true work of art. Italian flair at its best. Leather is a must! Excellent value for money with all extras seemingly as standard. Only gripe is the fact that the rear seats don't split/ fold. Alfa please sort it!

Security and Service
Security
Alarmed, immobiliser and dead locks as standard (I think!)
Service
No problems with maintenance service, however salesman need a lesson in customer care, still this doesn't put me off!!
