Summary
What does this car say about you?
I hope it says I've got some class! I like how there aren't many around and it's different from the usual 3 series class cars
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Love it, especially how it looks, nobody criticises it other than people who think that Alfa's are unreliable
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would probably keep hold of mine for years as I think it's a future classic. I don't like the look of the facelifted versions as much as the original.
What are you likely to buy next?
Not too sure, am pretty addicited to Alfa's now, am quite tempted by a Mito

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£3,000
When did you buy the car?
August 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
Probably paid more than we should but it had really low mileage, great pearlescent paint and good history. Felt it was the best around.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Always wanted one
What was the dealer like?
Small independant from ebay. Really friendly, replaced cambelt and gave a basic service. Also delayed handing the car over as he discovered issues with the air con and insisted that he would repair this.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Fantastic, you can't help but rev it hard for the engine note and performance above 3000 rpm. Steering is really responsive and the handling is excellent.
What's it like to park?
Fine, our estate is easier as there is no boot sticking out.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No, totally reliable and no oil burning
What's most practical about your car?
We have a Volvo V40 T4 which is obviously more practical so quite hard to compare. Genuine four seater.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The leather is beautiful, the model is the rare sport 3 trim which means it's slightly lower and handles really well. Love the five hole alloys
