Economy
Value
Cheap to buy (compared to dull and expensive Audi and BMW).
Costs
Depreciation is a bit scary, but come on, money's boring…
-
On the road
Driving
More fun than my girlfriend's Audi A3 1.8T, even though it's not as quick.
Performance
Surprisingly good for a diesel (never had one before).

Living with it
Reliability
Couple of things fixed under warranty, niggles really, nothing engine-wise.
Image
Now this is why you buy an Alfa - it's the prettiest saloon on the road. I laugh heartily at the entry level 3 series and A4 posers who just don't get it. The more muppets that buy those cars the better, it keeps the cool ratio intact.
Comfort
Fine.
