yes, same reason ive still got it and spent money fixing it, for the money i spent ive got loads of extras, and its a nice car.

159 Sportwagon or id like the 156 Sportswagon GTA

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

changed from a coupe due to the dog being unwilling to travel in a car more violent than a washing machine on full spin, lol.

What was the dealer like?

sympathetic, lol.

What's it like to drive?

I've been used to good handling fast coupes... i still forget its a estate car, even more so on country lanes, the down point is pot holes, ive changed the suspention, upper and lower arms and it still sounds loud over holes at slow/meduim speed.

What's it like to park?

it has 4 rear sensers, shame these are not at the height of a skip, the rear near side cluster light cost 60 smallones. owch. other than that it doesn't feel big and visability is good

Have you had any problems with the car?

not for the first 2.5 years bar servicing cost and general maintinace that you would expect from a second hand car. cambelt shredded 5 teeth at 39,000miles. engine didnt survive. manual said inspect at 35, change at 65, dealer said change at 35 as from 2005. alfa forum was really helpfull and thanx to a new garage in Middlesbough i had the car picked up, full recon engine, new full cluch+kit and delivered back to me in Kettering for an grand total of £1050. This also came with 12 months warranty.Thanks to ALLTHINGSALFA.CO.UK.

What's most practical about your car?

The passanger airbag can be turned of easily, good idea for babies. storage areas in boot, easy roof rail application, alothough watch out when opening the tailgate if you have a surfboard on the roof, lol.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

every thing being electric. and the fact it feels that a tiny italian man has spent years designing every peace right down to the the air/heating ventsin the back
