Economy
Value
Lots of goodies to play with that all seem to work still!
Costs
Brilliant value second hand. I've averaged 27mpg over last 12,000 miles. A lot of it on motorways though. Make sure you're sitting down when you find out how much the 72,000 mile service is going to cost.

On the road
Driving
Suspension can be a bit too firm but excellent on motorways and A roads.
Performance
The auto box changes a bit too early in normal mode and doesn't change into top (4th) until about 65. But you can always use the manual tiptronic selection I guess. Throttle response gets electronically altered when in ""sport"" mode.

Living with it
Reliability
The gearbox and engine management systems have both misbehaved once but have sorted themselves out immediately upon turning off and re-starting
Image
A very sexy car. My wife wants it when I come to change it.
Comfort
I'm 6'5"" and wish the seat would go back a bit further because my knees are spread around the wheel. Typical Italian driving position I suppose but I would like to get the steering wheel a bit nearer and the pedals a bit further away

Security and Service
Service
Use Alfa specialists. Main dealers are too expensive
