Alfa Romeo Brera (2006 - 2010) 2.2 JTS S 3d Owner Review

I was looking for a "toy", purely to drive for enjoyment. My wife suggested Alfa Romeo as a brand and I wasn't aware of any models that fitted my rather wooly criteria. (OK I wanted an Alpina B3) The Brera isn't a common car and had passed under my radar when it was new. I looked at the 3.2 initally but it was £500/year road fund and I couldn't justify that. I finished up with the "S" version, which was fettled by Prodrive - basically revised suspension and very nice 19" alloys. She's a beaut to drive considering weight (about 1500kg) and power (185bhp) and practical enough for a week's holiday for the wife and I. Oh, and she's soooo pretty
