Alfa Romeo Giulia 2.0 Turbo Petrol 200hp auto 4d Owner Review

It's a reliable, safe and enjoyable car, fit for a family with two kids if you accept a sporty approach. Strengths are in particular the weight balance (Fifty-fifty), light materials of the body (many parts are carbon fiber, aluminum and light steels made) and above all the steering wheel, very precise. Breaks are by wire: at the beginning the feeling is less immediate in comparison with mechanical ones, like on my previous car (Bmw), but more efficient and safe since the braking is progressive and electronically controlled. Infotainment is essential and easy, nothing intrusive or kitsch/flashy. The aluminium engine is flexible, resilient and reliable (steel timing chain). 200 hp are a good choice for the light version (rear drive model), fit to last for many years since the 280 hp option is a tuned version of the same engine, with a few technical improvements. The exhaust sound while changing gears through the steering paddles is remarkably enjoyable. Not perfect in the interiors, it's a very rare family car really fun to drive, not overpriced, full of character.
