Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce 2.0 Turbo Petrol 280hp auto 4d Owner Review

I cannot understand why these cars don't sell in large numbers. The balance, the steering, the responsiveness and chassis, the acceleration, the comfort, make it one of the best cars I have ever driven after trying much of the 'opposition'. It is comfortable and (for a powerful car) reasonably economical, but what sets it apart is that it is equally capable wafting down a motorway in economy with the cruise control on, gently cruising around country lanes, getting you briskly to an appointment, or letting you safely have hooligan tendencies in driving very fast up a mountain pass. Yes there are a few minor niggles such as an indicator that doesn't always cancel and an infotainment system that has quirks, but if you want a car to enjoy driving with a Sat Nav that gets you where you want albeit without Audi like quality (but with a ride that puts any any equivalent Audi to shame) then this is the car you want. And reliability is class leading. And no, Alfa Romeo don't sponsor or fund me, just give one a try!
