Alfa Romeo Giulietta (2010 - 2020) 1.75 TBi Cloverleaf 5d Owner Review

Buy this vehicle if you want something different. Alfa Romeo does it different, no boring normal german or japanese. I mean, just look at it- its so beautiful to look at..! Glances are normal when driving this car- even if its 6 years old! Everything around the car feels special.. The interior is great, love the way everything looks and feels.. (small rattle in the dash at times set aside) but hey, its an Alfa! Italians hey! Dynamically i think its wonderful. Its more a GT than a full on hot hatch. I love driving it on sweeping roads- it really comes alive at speed.. great brakes as well! I do however believe in looking after the car well and it will look after me. I change the oil everything 10,000km and overall just take care in the way i drive it. IE, i drive calmly until all liquids are up to temperature before taking full potential of performance. And importantly when driven enthusiastically, let the turbo cool down properly before switching engine off. This is my second Alfa after i owned a 159 3.2 ti for a few months ( beautiful car but too heavy on fuel) and i'm a proper Alfa nut now! The history, the racing cars, everything around the name gets me excited about driving. And my giulietta 1750 qv is a proper Alfa Romeo and i love it! If anyone doubts buying an Alfa because you have heard or read bad stories about reliability this or that ( there admittedly have been a few less well engineered cars over the years but) do yourselves a favour, just go drive one and do it. Driving isn't simply getting from point A-B, driving is a experience, an emotion, and i choose to do it in an Alfa Romeo.
