Summary
What does this car say about you?
Hip, smooth, likes RED
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Sexy, difficult to keep squeaky clean.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, it is Alfa Red, sporty and fast. What more would you want from a road car? However the interior is black on the Cloverleaf and it is a bit depressing. The interior is well made and sporty but black is not my ideal colour.
What are you likely to buy next?
An Alfa GT but with a sunroof and Cuio (Natural Leather) interior to complement the special Alfa Red paint. As Always I woudl want even more power. However the company car tax is REALLY low at £110/mth which is on reason I chose it over Jaguars, Mercs etc.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£21,000
When did you buy the car?
October 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
It is a good value package. It is cheaper than buying from the normal options list. However you are stuck with what Alfa want to give you.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
It is a fabulous shape and has a larger trunk than a Brera
What was the dealer like?
Never met them, lease car.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Quick, sporty, well weighted, great. A lot of road noise / jiggle from the low profile tyres. they look great but I would ditch them for more comfortable tyres.
What's it like to park?
A dream apart from the front end. It is longer than it looks and the pointy end has hit the garage wall.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
My wife put in petrol, £2700 to fix as Alfa insist on a new fuel system. If it had been older and out of warranty I would have had it sucked and risked it. The tyres are so low profile the alloys scrape on just about anything.
What's most practical about your car?
The doors are really wide. The emissions are the same as the lower power car but this is a con. A good con!!! The emissions MUST increase when the 20% extra power kicks in on pressing the SPORT button. However it keeps the tax down which is a GOOD THING.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The "Sport" button that is claimed to give extra power and torque. I have not noticed any real difference, it is always powerful. the trim is great, only it is black. The overall package of special bits on the Cloverleaf is great value.
