Economy
Value
Got mine 4 years old with 40k on the clock - one hell of a machine for just over 7 grand.
Costs
Have a brilliant specialist near-by (DTR Sports) who did my cam-belt and annual service for under £600. Worth spending the cash to keep the car in peak condition, crime not to.

On the road
Driving
Does fly around corners, in real-world driving the car does everything you ask of it.
Performance
Since using Optimax I have noticed quite a difference, much better off the line. I just love changing down to third on those dual carriage-ways!

Living with it
Reliability
No problems yet, send your money up-front on decent servicing and you should be in a good position.
Image
You have got to love it, in metallic blue it looks seriously sexy and much more exotic than the sales-rep style 3 series. Much prefer it to jelly-mould TT too, its a proper sports car rather than a concept gone mad.
Comfort
Great up front - back seats and boot plenty of space for two and can easily accommodate golf clubs.

Security and Service
Security
Nothing untoward as of yet, I think that I could break into the windows with a tea-spoon if I tried, but alarm is pretty effective.
Service
Don't use manufacturer, look for specialist.
