Alfa Romeo Mito (2009 - 2018) 1.4 8V Sprint 3d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
Wouldn't buy the 8v again, it's rather slow. Would buy a turbo one happily. The wee car is great to look at, can't resist doing a look back when I'm walking away from it. Mines the non DNA suspension car so upgrades have been needed, namely, Koni dampers w/ 30mm lowering springs and wider aftermarket wheels with performance tires to make it less understeer ready. Car is really fun to drive, recently drove it to the west coast of Ireland and it did so without skipping a beat. Factory sound system is pretty decent.
My biggest gripe with it is the lack of rear visibility, I tend to find myself reversing like it's a Lamborghini Countach with the drivers door open to line it up. There's also the bipolar reverse sensors that never seem to work when you need them to and go mental when there isn't anything behind the car.
How reliable do you find the car?
Sump needed resealed, sometimes has electrical niggles but nothing serious or inconvenient.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
The way the seats can be flipped up to increase boot space is pretty neat. Plenty of storage bins. Cupholder is worthless though. MPG is acceptable (I never honestly pay attention to it but I reckon I'm getting around 350-400 miles out of a tank)About their car
