What does this car say about you?

Someone who doesn't like overpriced Mini's and wants a car that will be far more exclusive with more character and style.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Alot of people ask about it, mainly as they havn't seen one before. Everyone who has seen it are impressed although some people have a negative view of the Alfa Romeo Name. I did like one particular comment which was "look how manufacturers like Skoda have changed in the last 15 years, do you think Alfa Romeo are doing the same?".

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, it is extremely well build and the quality far outruns all other cars I have owned. Alfa Romeo have obviously sorted out all quality and reliability issues they were once known for.

What are you likely to buy next?

Whatever nice Alfa's are around at the time. Once you have bought one you are hooked.

Did you get a good deal and why?

It was a good deal for a 1.6 Diesel Engine considering the petrol models are very similarly priced which is unusual.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

What was the dealer like?

Very professional and thorough, the salesman actually knew technical information about the cars which is unusual.

What's it like to drive?

Very impressive engine power from a 1.6, allowing easy overtaking and plenty of power. Very impressive hill climbing ability. The car drives like an Alfa but feels as well built as a VW Golf with huge amounts of torque for a small car, which other drivers arn't ready for. The car feels much quicker than the figures given.

What's it like to park?

Limited view through rear window but the good sized wing mirrors make up for this. The car has good turning ability and the electronic power steering makes turning very easy. However with no door trims I am very cautious of who I park next to.

Have you had any problems with the car?

All small things easily repaired under warranty.

What's most practical about your car?

Very comfortable for long distance driving achieving 66mpg average on a long motorway run. Plenty of storage spaces other than that it isn't really meant to be practical.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

I love my 18 inch three spoke alloys, I havn't seen another Mito with these. The D.N.A. system is very useful and makes a huge difference to the way the car performs and handles. The D 'Dynamic' Setting which I always use puts the fun into driving a diesel car and dramatically improves throttle response. The Blue & Me system is also very useful.
