Alfa Romeo Mito (2009 - 2018) 1.6 JTDM Veloce 3d Owner Review

I kinda like it but sometimes kinda hate it. The ride isn't good, lots of bangs and rattles especially over uneven roads. The front catches when going over speed bumps which is a pain- should it really do this? It is low at the front. The MPG isn't what it states. I regularly get 53mpg but today I got 59 which is new.? Couple of days ago I got a sensor lit on the dash. Turns out I need to drive it more as it was a filter clog. Book states drive more to clear-bonus :-) Boot space is rubbish. Seems the backseats are handy for this problem. Love the DNA system and you can really feel a difference when you move from D to N. The power on D is great for overtaking. Gives you confidence. I think Alfa would be better just offering D full time. Its a pain switching. . Trim is shocking. Not a selling point at all.Door handle keeps separating. BlueMe works when it feels like and the Bluetooth telephone system, well I might as well speak alien as I've a better chance of it understanding me! Steering is a bit woolen. It travels with the ruts in the road not in a straight line! Headlights are rubbish, cant see much in the dark!, have to resort to putting on driving lights which annoys other road users. Diesel is a little noisy cold but it is a diesel after all. Would I buy another? Well I'd certainly think about it. Love the looks and the acceleration. Gets you noticed. Prefer petrol I think as Diesel is unrefined.
