Summary
What does this car say about you?
That you enjoy driving and want something a little different, more fun and more stylish than a fiesta or corsa, less common than a mini, but that won't cost the earth to run either.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like it, think it suits me, and enjoy the drive and performance. They have low expectations laughing about residuals and reliability, then see it and really like it. One even wants to buy it off me when I come to sell it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Depends on my requirments then. Its not the most practical car but ideal for me right now and for at least a couple more years. Either this or a larger alfa. I'm a convert so far! Lets see if it suffers any reliability gremlins they're famous for.
What are you likely to buy next?
This or a larger alfa so long as it remains reliable. Feels solidly made so far.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Lowest price in the country at the time, good performance/economy comprimise, stylish and nicely equipped. Enjoyed initial test drive.

Outstanding, very good level of knowledge, treated me very well throughout.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Flawed but likeable, thats the best way to describe it. DNA is interesting. Dynamic mode is great fun with very enthuasiastic throttle response, good overtaking punch, fun sporty handling. Normal is good for clogged traffic and motorway cruising and is more relaxed. Throttle response in normal is very sluggish which is nice for pootling about and good for economy, if you want to get anywhere choose dynamic. Normal is not really normal, its soft, should make all weather like this and normal normal. Software so maybe they'll upgrade soon as its common complaint. Ride rather firm but certainly liveable with and flipside is its great fun on A/B roads. Relaxed cruiser, only pulling 2000RPM at 70. Diesel decently refined at speed, a little clattery in town but not annoying. Doesn't how much thin
What's it like to park?
The turning circle could be tighter but the cars small size means it can fit into very small spaces. Huge wing mirrors help too. A lot easier than the focus I owned before.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Not yet. Nail in the tyre but you can't really blame the car for that. Anti-pollution DPF filter clogged warning appeared due to lots of short runs, but soon cleaned itself up after a 10 minute blast. Common with diesels it would seem.
What's most practical about your car?
Seats fold down and boot is much bigger than mini. Very useable for a small car. Room to fit 2 medium sized male adults in the back without complaint. Try doing that in a mini!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Air con. Some of my friends have newer designs but they don't get it, and I have, in summer its the coolest place you can get.
