The cabin has an air of sporting intent about it and gives a real sense of occasion. It’s identical the GTV and there’s plenty of Italian flair about the design form the deeply recessed dials to the trio of circular air vents in the dash. The driving position is rather laid back however and rear visibility is limited, especially with the roof up.
The Spider doesn’t bother with the token rear seats, as the GTV hard-top does, so it’s a strict two seater. There’s generous cabin space, although the seats look more comfortable than they are over long distances, but thankfully buffeting with the roof down is not significant.
