Alfa Romeo Stelvio SUV 2.0 Turbo Petrol 280hp Q4 AWD Ti auto 5d Owner Review

It’s an Alfa so my first thought was how reliable would it be? So far so good proven very reliable no faults at all. I have to say it has lived up to expectation and more. Interior quality in my view is good, love the Ferrari like paddle shifters on the steering wheel a nice touch. OK so theres no touch screen but the single rotation wheel makes it easy to operate things on the move without distraction, heater controls etc are button operated so no searching through endless screens to change the cabin temperature. Leather seats are supportive and comfortable on longer journeys the driving position is quiet high which you would expect in an SUV as a result visibility is good. Auto gear box is smooth in normal traffic and great in dynamic mode extremely responsive. I’ve driven many SUV’s and some saloons, none of which drive and handle like this, it just wants to be driven with its planted handling and quick responsive steering it’s a “B” road dream, its 100% Alfa. Let’s be honest you don’t buy this car if economy is your first need, 28 to 32 MPG on average.
