Alfa Romeo Stelvio SUV Speciale 2.0 Turbo Petrol 280hp Q4 AWD auto 5d Owner Review

This is great car for the money. It is individual and quick, albeit a bit thirsty. Even on a long run 30mpg is a pipe dream - but for that sort of performance on a petrol SUV it is not surprising. Its ride is harsher than the Range Rover it replaced but better than any M Sport BMW and certainly better than my defender!. All in all.this is an individual car which gets great compliments in any car park and, looking at any contract hire site, you would have to pay double what i currently pay to get anything as nice. One complaint. Wind noise is noticeable as the door seals have an odd design, but a minor issue. But for a car with the performance of an SVR Range Rover and the price of less than a Honda CRV, for me there can be no competition to this car in its class. Drive a hard deal at the garage; headline discounts are huge - i got 25% off an instock car to get me to £400 a month on lease - do the maths... As a seasoned Alfa owner, from a resale perspective, lease it, don't buy it!
