Alfa Romeo Stelvio SUV Speciale 2.2 Turbo Diesel 210hp Q4 AWD auto 5d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
Bought the Stelvio based on driver experience. Mew 2019 210 diesel. Lasted 600 miles from new before the engine failed due to catastrophic oil leak (no warning or warning lights etc). Worst part is Alfa customer service. 5 hours on the roadside, more than 15 calls to customer service (all in Itally by the way and impossible to speak to anyone in the UK) and still no acknowledgement or response. Dealer it ended up in (not the purchasing dealer as Alfa refuse to recover your car further than the nearest dealer even if its the other side of the country to where you live) has been helpful but has told me the entire engine and gearbox needs to come out before they can even start to find the fault and se what else may be damaged - 4 weeks minimum and as parts take 10 days to come from Italy it could be much longer. Still no help from Alfa customer services. So a 3 week old car is a doorstop after 600 miles and being rejected. Shame, as it was a nice car but while the cars may (?????) be better than they ised to be, Alfa Romeo is still the worst company I've dealt with in decade. 600 miles is all the £45k car lasted......
How reliable do you find the car?
600 miles from new and car lost ALL its oil on the motorway. Now in the dealer and they have no idea of the fault and tell me to expect it to take 4+ weeks minimum to sort itAbout their car
