Should you buy one?

On a purely objective basis, the Ferrari 812 Superfast is more exhilarating, the Porsche 911 more precise and the Bentley Continental is better to live with.

But the DBS is a great compromise between all those cars. It’s much more special than the Porsche 911, more brutish than the Bentley Continental and more comfortable than the Ferrari.

If you desire something that sits between grand tourer and supercar, have a lot of money to spend and don’t mind an old cabin, we can wholeheartedly recommend one.

What we like

Every drive becomes a sense of occasion, the sound of the engine is mesmerising and most people would agree the design is beautiful.

What we don’t like

The interior is cramped and the quality, tech and layout isn’t good enough. It’s eye-wateringly expensive, even when compared with some of its rivals too.
