What does this car say about you?

We are not prepared to accept second best, but at the same time want something frugal.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Love it.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I would buy the same car again, simply because the road tax is £35 pa, it does 55-60 mpg. It fits in my garage easily. The build quality is excellent. The bodywork cannot rust (its alluminium). In twenty years this is the best car I have ever bought.

What are you likely to buy next?

Unfortunately Audi stopped making these which was in today's economic climate was a mistake, so I will have to buy a larger Audi.

Did you get a good deal and why?

The price was about £600 below book price, which was good as small diesels are becoming sought after.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Simply because I have bought Audi before and they have always been excellent. I now needed one that was economical due to the recent fuel price increases

What was the dealer like?

Hilton Garage car supermarket were excellent. We had sold our car, so they lent us a courtesy car whilst they prepared this one.

What's it like to drive?

An absolute dream. Quick for such a small engine. You have to watch the rev counter as it is quite easy to 'red line'.

What's it like to park?

Easy, apart from the daft rear spoiler.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing has gone wrong as I would expect, but I cannot locate the spare wheel. The handbook reckons it is in the rear boot compartment, but this would mean removing the battery?

What's most practical about your car?

Easy to park. Easy to drive.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Apart from the invisable spare wheel, just the fact it has a quality CD player is enough.
