What does this car say about you?

I was ahead of my time, so many cars now take the cue of the A2, but they all seem to miss the point.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

It was nicknamed the shoe! People thought I was quirky and mad for having such a vehicle.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes... Audi bring back the A2. There is an A2 owners club, the cars are still reliable, going strong with a cult following. I was bitterly dissapointed in the A1 (a vw polo with an Audi badge). where is the Aluminium that made it so effective, where is the upmarket small car with a big space!!! AUDI WHERE IS IT!!!!!

What are you likely to buy next?

AUDI... WHERE IS MY NEW A2, it's been 10 years!!!!! God really, who does your market research! In retaliation I am going to buy a BMW 1 series, but don't think I'm happy about it.

Did you get a good deal and why?

This was from a fleet management company I was forced to use.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I wanted a cheap to run, comfortable car to do high mileage. Most things with 1.4 in the name normally are an about town car or drastically underpowered.

What was the dealer like?

I never met them, but they sent the car in a big Audi Van with enclosed sides that could fit two cars. It made me feel special!

What's it like to drive?

I got the sport, so it handled like it was on rails. Unfortunately this did mean I swerved all over the road to avoid pot holes (sorry fellow road users) due to the hard suspension and low profiles, it's the only thing Audi got wrong with the car.

What's it like to park?

It's such a small car, it was pretty easy however the rear spoiler did cause a bit of confussion.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Top suspension mount at 75k miles, done under warranty!!! Light bulb was a back to dealer job (really!).

What's most practical about your car?

This is the best car I have ever had, and I have since had: Volvo S40 (hmmm) Vauxhall Vectra (forgive me) Vauxhall Astra (I sinned again) Subaru Legacy (okay this was pretty brilliant) Ford Mondeo (it was good) Citroen DS4 (everyone has to be quirky).

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The seats in the back, put two friends in the back, works quite well, has a good boot, but if you really need space, take the seats out! Only the Honda Jazz gets close for common sense.
