Summary
What does this car say about you?
Who cares, perhaps quality on a budget, and appreciation for style? It has aged amazingly and is a very popular city car here (now appreciating), if you can find one for sale.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
To be honest, I don't care what they think. But they seem always amazed how big when inside, or seeing what comes out of it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Possibly if the right model for sale, in right condition. Shame Audi doesn't make them anymore!
What are you likely to buy next?
Maybe a newer Porsche with all the money these genius cars save us!

N/A, from private seller.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
A hoot, 970kgs and 110bhp, with 47mpg combined, costs peanuts, feels much bigger and better for age and money.
What's it like to park?
Easier than a Lupo, when you have rear sensors ;) But aluminium panels mean you like to get it right.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing, until Xmas, engine blew at 220,000 kms after 3 hours motorway driving in blizzard. Donor engine and gearbox being fitted, as cheaper than rebuild.
What's most practical about your car?
Low taxes, build quality and ride for age and price. Removable individual rear seats, design looks fresh and up to date even now. A cult classic here.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Load capacity for size, fits four people over 6ft with S class leg room, removable individual rear seats. Bose symphony system.
