Economy
Value
List price several thousands above equivalents from other marques, but the product is really only marginally better than the latest Astra for example.
Costs
Fuel costs low, lease car rate high for class of car.
-
On the road
Driving
Precise handling, inspires confidence. Clutch is horrible.
Performance
Pretty impressed with performance of diesel engine, but much noisier than expected, especially when cold, but even when warmed up it booms very loudly when the powers on.

Living with it
Reliability
Major fuel leak within a few weeks of getting the car. Pipe connection came loose somewhere underneath floorpan. No real explanation as to why from dealer who fixed it. Boot lid closes uncertainly and often requires a second go.
Image
Better than I'm used to.
Comfort
Comfortable for a 6ft 4in bloke, but driver's left knee rests against rock hard plastic 'handle' forward of gear stick.

Security and Service
Security
Ok, as far as I know.
Service
At first, dealer made me feel like I was lucky he was doing me a favour and I had to ask for everything that I was entitled to anyway, like delivery of the car back to my home after it had been recovered due to fuel leak.
