Economy
Value
I bought second hand at 18 months old and saved over £7,000 on the list price with the extras. Standard equipment is good on the SE especially with the twin split climate control. Thankfully the previous owner fitted the BOSE upgrade which is superb.
Costs
Only had first Long Life service carried out so far which cost £253. Fluid changes will cost about £60. Hope Audi end up being cheaper than BMW main dealers in the long run.

On the road
Driving
Driving experience is not a touch on my 'old' 1996 BMW 320iSE. I need to get used to front wheel drive driving again which doesn't seem fluid on this car. The BMW had a sixth sense like it knew what you wanted it to do next. The Audi needs to be told!.
Performance
Get the right gear and this car will respond. Engine not as torquey as I'd hoped. Pulling away from standstill, the engine is very course and gruff when worked. Sounds like a diesel at times!.

Living with it
Reliability
No real problems yet. Had a recall item at the service and awaiting fuel system part for garage to fit under warranty. Car still in use though.
Image
Very high kerb appeal. Turns heads. I think the car looks superb from all angles. The design is sophisticated and subtle. At first it looks simple until you look further.
Comfort
The interior environment is excellent. Seats and steering wheel adjustment very good. Ride and suspension is truly terrible and needs some serious sorting out. Beyond words how Audi released this car on British roads with this quality of ride!
