Summary
What does this car say about you?
It says that I can have my cake (Lactose free), and eat it. Sensible family car and fun hot hatch.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They love the look and the quality interior. Only being 3 door they're not too impressed at getting in and out of the back seats. 5 doors would be better if you need to give people lifts.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes I would buy it again. Its everything that anyone needs really. They say the Golf GTI is the only car you'll ever need, but this looks better and has audi's excellent QUATTRO drive. And it doesn't have the boy-racer image of the GTI.
What are you likely to buy next?
Porche 911 or Audi A3 Quattro R32.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes I think so. Car was very well priced and came with cherished plate. White Dove of Cardiff are to be recommended.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Just fancied it and my BMW was getting a little tired!
What was the dealer like?
Friendly helpful and sensible. I would happily use again. A fault was paid for and a full service at Audi Wolverhampton even though i purchased from Skoda Cardiff!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Steering is a bit light for me, and could do with more feel; its certainly not as good as my old BMW 3 Series. Other than that and a bit of tyre noise from the recommended P Zeros (Dunlop are better), its wonderful.
What's it like to park?
Rear visibility isn't the best so reverse parking is tricky. I miss my rear parking aid. I confess that I have reversed into my son's Yamaha.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The car had been sitting around for a while before I bought it so it needed a service soon after I got it to sort out an engine management issue,. Leads now Gold Plated! Honest!
What's most practical about your car?
Fast yet economical. Reasonable Tax and Insurance. Can seat 4 adults easily and 5 at a push. Grips like a limpit on a Grimsby trawller.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
DSG gearbox is fabulous! Easy to use in slow traffic, yet exciting in manual with the tiny flappy paddles, and awsome in sport mode. Wont go back to manual!!!
