Audi A3 Sportback (2004 - 2013) 1.6 Special Edition 5d Owner Review

In their own words
It is a nice car to drive and can be fun. Can cruise on motorways quietly, liven up on other roads, the 1.6 gives average fuel consumption and it is practical enough for day to day use.
I bought it at under 80K miles with full Audi service history, 1 owner. As well as the regular servicing and replacement components that go along with that I have: Had the gearbox refurbished, radiator replaced, new front shocks and springs, back exhaust, new clutch, work at every MOT, an ABS/ESP fault that needs looking at and now the engine management light has come on - maybe the reason why on rare occasions it will not start easily. The coil pack, leads and plugs were replaced under 30k ago so hopefully it is not a symptom of them failing.
I don't drive the car recklessly and it covers under 10,000 miles a year. It hasn't let me down but is the most unreliable car I have owned.
