What does this car say about you?

Aspirational..so I bought a Golf with an Audi badge!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They liked it, thought it looked smart.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, but with much better sports, leather seats. I'd also probably go an S3 or RS3 if I could afford it. The 1.6 is pretty gutless.

What are you likely to buy next?

Golf GTI, 3 Series, 350Z, not sure basically...

Did you get a good deal and why?

He was happy, I was happy enough. I reckon I paid about £400/£500 over the market price in hindsight.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Needed a new car due to a car accident which wrote off my old one.

What was the dealer like?

Decent guy.

What's it like to drive?

Quite smooth, nice handling, but very uneventful. The 1.6 is quite underpowered, so get a 2.0 petrol or more. Also, if you do get an A3, make sure its got the higher spec sports seats. The standard seats are killers, no back or leg support. I had to sell the car just because of the seats.

What's it like to park?

Easy, especially with the parking sensors.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing, well made and very reliable.

What's most practical about your car?

Spacious for it's size, decent boot space especially.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Multi Functional Steering wheel and the bluetooth integration was great. Rearing parking sensors (first time I'd had them).
