Summary
What does this car say about you?
I don't really care. I suppose some level of success without flash.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Friends & family like it. Most of neighbours have bigger Audis/BMW's anyway.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. I've enjoyed most of my cars, but this is the best all-rounder, so far. Brilliant economy and £30pa road tax. Only disappointment is lack of stowage space for bits & pieces in cabin and boot (later models have side compartments in boot linings, but still no map pockets in back of front seats).
What are you likely to buy next?
Same again.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£11,300
When did you buy the car?
July 2013
Did you get a good deal and why?
Bought at auction - really good price.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Wanted a car that would be enjoyable for me to drive, but small enough for my wife to handle.
What was the dealer like?

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
I love it. Lots of low-end power (torque) so pulls like a train from 1500rpm. I rarely rev above 3000rpm - it's just not necessary and doesn't accelerate any faster. I drive up to the legal limit at every opportunity, but it still does 55mpg. 70mph is only 2000rpm in 6th gear.
What's it like to park?
Easy. If it's really tight at the rear, the sensors help.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No
What's most practical about your car?
Nice size - comfortable for 4 adults (5 at a pinch) Reasonable boot for its overall size. Parking sensors useful.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Fuel consumption display - it really has got me thinking about economy driving.
