In their own words
The 2-litre turbo engine provides plenty of performance but at the same time is capable of giving good economy when not pushed. Suspension and handling are a very good compriomise between comfort and handling, though there is not enough feedback to the driver - it just goes where you put it without telling you how near you are to the limit, and since it tends to be going quicker than you think (the engine is very quiet - too much so for my tastes) I worry that it will overstep the mark one day. I find the brake servo assistance to be far too keen, though the steering is nicely weighted. Some of the automatic features are too clever for their own good - example, automatic headlight dipping that dips when going towards a full moon. And despite all those gizmos, it lacks reversing sensors. In other words, although it's clearly a very competent motor car, it just doesn't "talk" to me, and makes me feel that I'm not in full control. My other car is a 10-reg Mitsubishi CZT Ralliart, and when I get back into that I feel much more at home.
How reliable do you find the car?
Suffered a common issue with the water pump housing leaking, but as it was 6 months after warranty expired it cost about £700 to repair. It also suffers a noisy front wheel bearing, which will be another £400 or so.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
Great performance, as one would expect, but the above reliabilty issues let it down. Also there is just too much automatic stuff so I don't really feel in full control.About their car
