Audi A4 Avant (2001 - 2004) 1.9 TDI (130ps) 5d Owner Review

I have owned many used cars of around 10+ years old including Mercedes and BMW and this is by far the greatest all rounder. The drive is connected, the handling is good for something of it's size and weight, but the suspension soft enough to give comfort. The seats are comfortable and supportive. It's fast enough for overtaking in most situations, someone impatient like me would want to, and despite my heavy right foot, mostly around town, it will not average less than 40 MPG (60 on a motorway run). The boot is big enough for my two large dogs to be comfortable, although it was a bit tight with the parcel shelf in so that is out. Parts are not expensive for it and the 1.9 TD engine is well known to be a bullet proof engine capable of 300k miles. It looks good for a 5 door estate, my dogs love it, I love it. I have finally found my go to car that does everything!
