I don't try to make a statement with my car - it's just a car. I run a 10-year old car because it continues to do the job.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
No idea. I don't think about it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Probably not an A4 Avant because we don't need the space now children have left home. Happy with the Audi brand, so may look at an A3.
What are you likely to buy next?
As above - maybe an A3. Possibly even a MINI

Based on good experience with previous Audi A4 - a 1996 2.6 SE.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Relaxed motorway cruising. Good acceleration when needed if driven hard.
What's it like to park?
No problems. Good visualisation of corners of car.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing major in the past 5 years of ownership - just routine maintenance plus a cambelt change at 120,000miles.
What's most practical about your car?
Estate space for ferrying children to and from university (and skiing holidays).
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Climate control.
