I occasionally thought I should have bought an A6 for added space but at the time it seemed rather large for a car that would almost carry just me. Absolutely no dislikes at all and many likes - quiet, comfort, speed and acceleration when needed. 40+mpg on runs from 20 - 300miles. Good load carrying capacity with easy seat folding mechanism. Drives well with large roof box. Nice simple exterior styling. My wife had the earlier Avant version and liked it. She now has the latest model. An all Audi family except for the XK8 and Z3 fun cars.
How reliable do you find the car?
Basically trouble free and simple annual servicing except for needing a new automatic gear box at 100,000mls. Such a nice car I thought it worth the expense and to keep it.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
No rattles at 122,000mls. Very good acceleration from 3L diesel. Good gear ratios and nice to have steering wheel paddles. Good light coloured leather interior.About their car
