Audi A4 Avant (2008 - 2015) 2.7 TDI Black Edition 5d Multitronic Owner Review

IMO, this car is very poorly designed and thought out. It seems to be a classic example of the person who designed it not bothering to actually use the thing he designed to find out all the flaws so that he could correct them, with the result that they are not corrected. A couple of examples: there is NOWHERE to store A4 paper documents other than on the floor. Ditto maps. There are controls accessed ONLY via the computer system, so instead of having a button to push or knob to turn which you can reach without having to look for it because you know where it is, you have to look away from the road and mess about with fiddly controls to get what you want to show on the computer screen then set it to what you want: this is both stupid and dangerous. This was my first Audi. I will never again have an Audi, and as it is from the same stable as VW it has totally put me off ever having a VW. It would be very nice if (1) they used people with IQs exceeding that of a mentally retarded amoeba to design these things, and (2) they forced the designers to use what they had designed in real-world conditions.
