Economy
Value
Not cheap, not particularly well spect as standard vs SAAB etc. You are definately paying for a badge. However, general build quality (on mine at least) is excellent
Costs
Insurance reasonable with a sympathetic broker (I'm 27, pay around £550). Gets about 23 MPG in real-world. Tyres £140 each.

Driving
If you buy as a great fast cruiser, you won't be disappointed. Comfortable and quiet for long trips. 5-spd manual gearbox is nice. Visability not great with hood up. Bose stereo is pretty good.
Performance
Fantastic smooth engine, loads of grunt across rev-range. Handling not as bad as some suggest - grip is actually quite good, but doesn't feel as fluid as some

Living with it
Reliability
Fine, as would be expected.
Image
Fantastic. Everyone loves it. Probably the main reason for buying this type of car.
Comfort
Driving position and ergonomics are good. Rear leg-room not too bad, but entering/ exiting rear seats is difficult for taller/ older passengers

Security and Service
Security
Fabric hood never as secure as metal. Less of a problem for me as garaged + country location. Wouldn't sleep well if I parked on street in London. Has standard Thatcham 1 security.
Service
Great service from supplying dealer (Sytner, Slough)
