Economy
Value
Solid build quality and engine. Feels like a new car for little money.
Costs
Parts can be expensive from main dealers, but my local garage seem perfectly capable of carrying out most work.

On the road
Driving
Feels solid to drive. Entertaining round B-roads and nice balanced ride.
Performance
Great for a 1600 in such a large car. Smooth power delivery and great torque curve.

Living with it
Reliability
Mine's 6 years old now, but you wouldn't tell. Just look at the equivalent Vauxhall Vectra if you want reliability comparisons!!
Image
No-one believes how little I paid for this car. They all guess at nearly double its value!
Comfort
Excellent for long journeys except in the rear, where there's little legroom. Great interior touches like reading lights and lights in the sunvisors though!

Security and Service
Security
Seems ok. Hasn't been tested... yet. I'm getting a Disklok though (£70 is a small price to pay) and maybe a CAT1 later.
Service
Mill Audi Sunderland don't offer the level of service you'd expect from an Audi dealer. I suspect it would be different if i was purchasing a car from them, however!

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Keep your battery tip-top. Locking car without setting alarm isn't an option, so battery can drain.
Other
Nothing other than what the previous family owner inflicted (broken ashtray and headrest), but that's it.
Ownership
Did you buy the car new?
Used
Would you buy the same model again?
Yes
Did you buy from the same manufacturer again?
