    Value

    3 out of 5 3.0

The A4 seems to hold value as long as it remains serviced by an Audi main dealer. (Will see if this is true when I come to sell it!). It has good levels of equipment and spec for the money.

Does drink a bit despite published performance figures! I have managed an av. of 25mpg on motorway runs. Be aware of insurance group 17!

    Driving

    4 out of 5 4.0

I bought the car as a sensible alternative to a BMW 328i Sport. The Audi feels solid, pulls well and the grips every corner. Doesn't sound too bad when pushed either.

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

Does not have the kick in the kidneys feel of the BMW but is quick. Best performance at higher revs with turbo. Can put most sports models to shame but does not need blacked out windows to drive it!!

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    4 out of 5 4.0

The car has only had 1 fault. Had to have new thermostat fitted (cost £150) as the car kept over cooling. So far no other problems!

The car looks strong and quick without being boastful. Audi name is getting better. The wife likes it!

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Suspension is hard as it is a sports model so you feel most bumps on longer trips. Seats are good and have been able to find a good driving position despite being 6'4". Rear leg room not great though!

  • Security and Service

    Security

    4 out of 5 4.0

Have not had to add anything for insurance.

    Service

    4 out of 5 4.0

Service has always been good and diagnostics have always been spot on. Always get follow-ups when jobs / service completed.
