Economy
Value
Pricy when new (£26,500) but subtle styling.
Costs
Tyres (P6000 205s on 17 inch rims) cost a packet. Keeps it on the road though.

On the road
Driving
For every Mondeo or Vectra driver you've ever hated, go off the lights in the damp on a 70 mph road and watch them get smaller in your rear view mirror.
Performance
This isn't going to beat a Porsche, but with 190 bhp it upsets a few boy racers. After all, this one carries the MotorSport badge on the steering wheel.

Living with it
Reliability
Has not had even a rattle to date.
Image
I give it a 5 because it is subtle - just a red line under the A4 badge and red flash next to the 1.8T. Some people might like more, but the wolf in sheep's clothing appeals to me.
Comfort
Because it's a Sport model it gets a little noisy at 80+ mph, but it depends what you are comparing it to. It has most of the standard kit that you would want, and I find the seats very comfy.

Security and Service
Security
The little toe-rags don't even look at it. I don't think they know what it is.
Service
The dealer was excellent. You pays your money and you takes your choice; and Audi dealers know you're paying good money and want a high level of service.
