What does this car say about you?
Ive got class, by all means i could have got a 04 reg city rover for the same money as a 96 audi a4, but seriously... its a no brainer!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Well if were doing long journeys, we will take the audi over our other car; a 58 reg vauxhall corsa.
Would you buy this car again and why?
yes, but i would recomend getting a newer one if you can afford it because rust is starting to show after 13 years of living by the coast.
What are you likely to buy next?
03' Ford Mondeo 2.0 tdci or simular diesel focus.

Great for long motorway journeys

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
fantastic on the motorway, remember this car was built for cuising on the fast lane of the autobahn so cruising in the fast lane of the M1 (which i regularly do) is a doddle for it as acceleration at high speeds is very quick due to the engine torque.
What's it like to park?
Not the easiest but then again you dont buy an Audi A4 for town driving.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Clutch at 135,000 with Seat main dealer set me back £700 (Audi main dealer quoted nearly £2000!) 2nd Cambelt change at 130,000 cost £400 because to change the cambelt the whole front of the car (bumpers, lights etc)has to be taken apart!
What's most practical about your car?
Big boot
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Bottom of the range model yet it still has ABS, drivers airbad, front electric windows, central locking and a couple others.
