Summary
What does this car say about you?
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like it, despite the diesel engine
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, I would buy another A4. I would buy a high mileage car that has already taken the depreciation because the build quality and engine durability are superb.
What are you likely to buy next?

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Big turbo lag at anything less than 2,000 revs, but still no problem pulling away from the lights. When the turbo kicks in, there's oodles of torque (and a bit of black smoke!). Monoeuvrable at low speeds and easy to drive on the motorway. I'm averaging 50 mpg, which is remarkable in a 2.5 litre, 155ps car!
What's it like to park?
Easy

Have you had any problems with the car?
Faulty water temperature sensor. Quote to repair from Audi over £200; fixed myself with some parts from GSF for less than £25.
What's most practical about your car?
Easy to drive long distances.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Comfortable sports seats
