Understated and smart.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Not the same one - would be tempted by a 2.7 tdi or an RS4 at the other extreme.
What are you likely to buy next?
Volvo V70 as I need the space. Would certainly consider another Audi at some point in time but would need to find another dealer - I have used 2 who have been awful: not returned calls, misinformed, dishonest, contradictory and generally uniterested in my plight.

Did you get a good deal and why?
I had done a lot of research so knew that the price was fair. There was no discout or offer given off the screen price so I may have been able to do better but I was under time pressure. I didn't get an especially good trade in for my previous car.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Needed something more practical than my previous car as we had a baby on the way.
What was the dealer like?
Awful. They were dishonest and behaved no better that an Authur Daley used car stereotype.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
OK. It's never going to set the road alight being front wheel drive. Slightly nose heavy, a bit understeery and the multitronic is never going to be as good as a manual or a decent DSG. Smooth enough on long motorway runs. Nice and firm on the S-Line suspension.
What's it like to park?
Easy to "see" as it has parking radar front and rear. Manoevering in small spaces is not made easy by the multitronic which is difficult to regulate at slow speed.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
A few minor niggles. Rear seat belt not retracting properly, foul smell from the air con, intermittent coolant leak.
What's most practical about your car?
Interior is really nice - well laid out instruments and controls, lovely ambient lighting, nice materials.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The car is loaded. Bose hifi upgrade, full DVD sat nav, heated seats, parking radar f + r, 18" wheels, cruise control, full leather, Blue tooth etc.
