Audi A4 Saloon (2005 - 2007) S4 quattro 4d Owner Review

This is a manual version of he S4. It is seriously quick. Its black with red leather seats and really looks the business but remains unobtrusive in my opinion. The major downside is the petrol consumption. Around town I consider myself lucky to ge between 12 to 15 MPG. However, on a long run involving motorways I have managed to average 27 MPG on occasions. The consumption really depends on how heavy one is with their right foot!! Insurance is very reasonable given the type of car. This year I paid just over £260 fully comprehensive with my younger son as a named driver. Would I sell it? Sometimes I feel I should be acting my age and not my shoe size and 'downsize'.. But its a bit of a double edged sword inasmuch as the car stands me in for quite a lot of money and what I could sell it for just simply would not be worth it, so for the time being it's "hang on in there" time. Frankly, there is nothing like the throb of a V8 under the bonnet!
